First Rule of Leading: Why Do What’s Ideal

Following four decades of involvement in nearly all aspects of leadership, by identifying, qualifying, training, developing and consulting leaders, to serving, as a pioneer, for several associations (large and small), I’ve frequently been asked, what I consider, to be, the most important consideration of principle, of contributing efficiently. I have detected, and heard, while it is possible to coach somebody, and furnish them with the necessary and essential skills, to move, sensibly, one must start the procedure, having a particular kind of mindset, and attitude. In case that must be summed – up, simply, and of course, it would be, one has to be guided by the heart principle, to do, what’s RIGHT! Bearing that in mind, this guide will attempt to briefly examine, consider, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, why understanding human nature. And/ or what causes us do, that which we do, is most important and important. It is vital to move in a righteous fashion, without being self – righteous! Just how could one know what is relevant, until/ unless he pays keen attention, to both the strengths and weaknesses, and also the advantages, in addition to negatives? Leading must focus on being attentive to demands, aims, priorities, and also the assignment of the group! A leader is accountable for effective leadership planning, and seeking tactical and action plans, with sustainability, and achieving ramifications, as core components.
