First Rule of Leading: Why Do What’s Ideal

Following four decades of participation in the majority of elements of direction, from identifying, qualifying, training, consulting and developing pioneers, to serving, as a leader, for all associations (large and small), I’ve frequently been asked, what I consider, to be, the most important thing of rule, of leading effectively. I have discovered, and learned, while it is possible to teach some one, and supply them, with the needed and necessary skills, to proceed, sensibly, an individual must start the process, having a specific sort of mindset, and attitude. In case this must be summed – up, simply, and essentially, it would be, one has to be guided by the heart principle, to do, what’s suitable! With that in mind, this article will try and briefly examine, consider, and discuss, using the mnemonic strategy, why understanding human nature. And/ or what causes us, what we do, is most crucial and relevant. It’s important to move, in a righteous manner, without being self – righteous! Just how would you know what’s relevant, until/ unless he pays keen attention, to the advantages and weaknesses, and the advantages, in addition to negatives? Leading must focus on being attentive to needs, aims, priorities, and the mission of this bunch! A pioneer is responsible for effective leadership planning, and seeking tactical and action plans, together with sustainability, and realizing consequences, as core components.
